Dear TC Campus Community members:

This Sunday, we'll have our teachers and parents meeting which will be held in our regular classrooms.

For all Chinese classes, bilingual classes included, the last 20 minutes of the classes will be served as the meeting time between teachers and parents. For any other classes, the last 15 minutes will be the meeting time for you and teachers. The meeting is served as an open channel for communications between parents and teachers on any topics related with classroom teaching, therefore, compile your concerns and questions beforehand and prepare for a good discussion with teachers of your children.

We have a piece of sad news to report to our community. We got an email from our host school this past Monday, the day after our school, complaining rather harshly about the conditions we left for two of the classrooms we used. Room B208&E205.

B208 was used by Kindergarten II MaLiPing and PinYin from 2-4 pm and Chinese English Bilingual Grade II from 4-6 pm. E205 was used by Third Grade MaLiPing II from 2-4 pm and Self Discovery Class I&II from 4-6 pm.

We ask the parents of students from these classes to spend time explaining to their children of the importance of abiding school rules and be aware of the consequence if not following them. The whole campus can not and should not be penalized for the irresponsible behavior of a few. I have said in the past that if a tenant can not get along with his/her landlord, the tenant needs to look for a new home sooner or later. MHS probably is the best site we can find for our community for its convenience, easy access and facility.

We are looking for volunteers to help us monitoring the situation very closely and we will take proper actions accordingly if the situation is not improved. Come to the front desk in the Cafeteria if you can and are willing to help the campus and your interests.
